When a card go's bad and you rma it if the company replaces that card do they have to replace by original value or by specification?. The card I have cost £352 in feb 06 its an x1900xtx so would they replace by value as in whatever card is close to £352 or replace by relative performance whatever would be equal to the x1900xtx bearing in mind weather or not they can source the xtx or not but the don't seem to have any or 1950xtx's either.

For a card that old they would most likley return it to the manufacturer. May be wuicker to deal with the manufactuerer yourself
