I know they usually take upto 28 days , but has anyone had anything back quicker from Asus ? My x99 mobo has just been sent to them ,

My pc is prettymuch my workhorse , it helps pay my way , so with it gone for upto 28 days it could make things a little difficult .

Post me your experiences with Asus specifilcily motherboards but anything I'll take lol

ASUS, RMA? LOL.

As much as this isn't reassuring to your position, ASUS have horrendous customer service.
ASUS RMA Horror Story? - Is a good google search.

Asus are a total joke. I just hope you have not removed anything from the mobo, including the backplate (which of course everyone needs to remove in order to fit a cooler to utilise the overclocking abilities of the board they make big noises about) as if you have, it will get rejected and you will be screwed.

You will be lucky I you ever see it again.

I've returned everything inbox - there a couple of wrappers for sli cable etc that arnt there but if they query a 250 quid part on that then that's laughable but will see. Asus have always been solid for me so this is my first bad experiance with them however the RMA time will tell me all . In theory if it's gone through ocuk ( they've tested I presume ) then are they not on my side if Asus decided to be cocks .

I nearly came close to RMA a motherboard last week which was over a year old but because the retailer had a special contract with Asus(apparently) they sent me out a replacement the next working day. So I didn't have to mess around with Asus directly.

Buy a new one from the Biggest internet company and when you get your old one back return the purchased one for a full refund ! :)

You don't have to give a reason for returning goods purchased over the internet. Cheers ;)
