Does anybody know if i take an ssd that has a bsod on win7 install will they exchange it there and then or do i have to wait for it to be inspected? thanks

Will have to be inspected I'm afraid ...

Have you tried looking for solutions, maybe it's software / setting related?

Have you not tried to reinstall windows? try and get to the problem yourself? might be wirth a try, BSOD's are normally just software related and fixable with a bit of inspection ;)
 
I set the bios to ahci, it wouldnt recognise the drive in bios, i turned off Express gate in the bios then bios detected the drive, i loaded win7 off my other hd turned the drive on in the manager.

I then ran Corsair field updater to update the firmware but it didnt recognise the drive.

So i then unplugged my hd and tried to install windows on corsair series 3 sdd it was installing ok for 25mins then i got a bsod, i tried this twice.
 
Don't bother sending it in unless you can drop it off in person as if there's nothing wrong (there probably isn't anything wrong with it) then you will have to cover silly postage costs.
