Hi All,

Has anyone had to RMA a PPC and request refund before on here.

Unfortunatley we had to RMA our rig a second time (in less than two weeks) and have decided to ask for a refund but we were slightly surprised at the email we received saying that it needed testing which would take 5-7 days when only an 8 hour stress test is "promised" when ordering a pc.

Your RMA has been received at our offices. All RMAs are tested in compliance with manufacturer requirements. This testing process is currently taking around 5-7 days. Once this has been completed we will e-mail you again with an update on progress.

Maybe things would be better if the testing was the other way round and faults would be found before despatch thus saving OCUK money and customers hassle.

Okay I get your point but I imagine they will see a fault as soon as they try and boot it up so I just dont see why I should wait 5-7 days.

As there has obviously been faults with the machine (2nd RMA & missing parts) I would expect them to hold there hands up and say here's your wonga wonga back have a nice day.

Another little thing was that they signed for receiving the parcel on the 18th but it was not until yesterday (21st) that it was booked in and we received the email. Wonder which date they go by.

The reply is standard but it dont always take 5-7 days depends how busy they are, they wont just have yours to check but others as well as they get plenty of rma request each week.

mmmm Plenty of RMA's every week. would have been nice to know before I purchased.
