Spain - Finally....
I recently discovered one of the 2gb memory modules of my 4gb OCZ Obsidian pack is faulty. I realise i will have to send back to OCZ direct (Netherlands???)and i have submitted an RMA request.
I am just wondering has anyone else done this with OCZ and did they have any troubles? Also will i have to send BOTH the 2gb modules as they came in a pack or just the defective one??
Absolute pain this but at least i know the cause of my "4.00gb (2.00gb Useable) on Windows System Info eh!
ps Didnt buy the memory from OCUK - although it would not have made a difference would it? - I would still have to deal with OCZ direct?

ive just ended an rma direct with ocz
all went smoothly and sorted within a week
ocz platinum edition ddr2 8500, 1 fautly module, was bought from ocuk but i never kept the receipt, they did there best to track the ram via their systems but nothing shown up, another set i had go bad from another competitor was replaced by this competitor as they were able to identify it as their ram without my receipt. hmmmm

anyways

sent to netherlands via royalmair overseas signed for, had a confirmation withing 2 days of sending it saying found faulty and direct replacement is on its way. just checked my tracking numner with fedex and its currently sat in the depot in my home down for delivery by 12 on tuesday.

Snap, sent via royal mail and got confirmation within two days and then replacements sent out without any complaint.

Top notch service, just the postage cost to Netherlands is a bit annoying.

Damn... lucky you... I've had a very different experience!

RMA opened Feb 22, sent on tues 23rd... status still as "Not replaced yet" (I was guessing they were out of stock...) but seeing as you've already had the same stuff replaced in a much shorter time frame... I'm now annoyed!

Been waiting a month and a half!
