An item was picked up from me last Wednesday for RMA, and it still says that they are waiting for the item. This isn't true since i tracked it, and it was signed for last Wednesday. Is it normal for it to take this long?

Cheers

It can do, in the past it has taken a good working week, also they might testing the item or organising the replacement as we speak and it can update to completed.

I queried a shorter delay in the time it takes for an item to arrive with OC and for it to show as being tested last month.

I was told that all goods are received through a goods in department of the warehouse and have to be sorted through as part of the overall workload. When something is identified as an RMA item it is sent to the relevant department and then joins the queue of items for testing (which is fair enough).

In that particular instance I was told of the outcome the same day it was confirmed as received on the RAM status, although it was for a visually verifiable defect with a case. I must admit I did chase it constantly, as I expected a turn-around of a couple of days and not a week+.
