RMA

MSI is pretty good - had to send mine over to the Netherlands but within a week they sent back a new card which was better than what I had due to them not having the parts to repair mine. I'm still pretty sure that it was outside its warranty too...

I recently had to RMA my MSI RX480 Gaming X because one of the fans stopped working. I was waiting over a month and I dont believe it actually came back, I think OcUK just sent me a new* card because of their 28 days RMA policy.

* - they claimed it was new, and the anti-static package the card was in was sealed but the box wasn't sealed and the manual was folded in half so I think it might have been a refurb.

If purchasing directly from OCUK, Asus might not be so bad? Due to the fact that its OCUK that you contact over the warranty period.

Anyone had to deal with this experience yet? Although Asus really sucks for Watercooling though, they have this stupid sticker on 1 of 4 scews at the back.

EVGA not least because it's transferable which is a bonus. I like how it all works on their website too via your account and product registration... overall it's a good system and works well, but I've never actually had to RMA anything myself. Friend of mine had a PSU go bang though, and it was a very smooth and simple process.

It really depends who you ask and what you are RMAing.

EVGA is considered the gold standard if you believe what you read.

I contacted OCUK about my gpu having coil whine and they told me that EVGA are very fussy with the non removal of the stock cooler. As mine is all water-cooled this was quite a worry. Never used the RMA as the coil whine is very random and can be fixed with and driver reinstall.

"...that EVGA are very fussy with the non removal of the stock cooler..."
Im pretty sure that is completely wrong. EVGA is the only brand that explicitly allows you to remove the cooler for anything you want - as long as you dont break it ofcourse

So I have read. But my problem is so finicky I didn't want to risk sending it off and getting the same card back I never followed up with it. Coil whine...
