RMAing 670, need replacement

I need to RMA my MSI 670 PE (from the day I got it, it's only stable if it's underclocked by 150Mhz), but I can't be without my PC for however long it takes to get sorted.

I was thinking of just buying a new card and then selling my replacement when it arrives, but I'm not sure if there is anything in the £200-300 price bracket worthwhile.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Sell the 670 and that makes that card much cheaper. Not much performance difference over your 670 mind but the best upgrade for you would be a 780 or a 290 IMO.

I'd do that, but my problem is that I just can't go without my PC for 'up to 28 days'.
(I really should have sent it back when I first got it, but after I was given the RMA number, work became hectic and I just forgot)


Looks like I may have to consider the 290/x then.

For your budget it as to be a 280x
But if you can stretch to £350+ i would get the 780/290
