RMA'ing a bundle

Guys, looking for some advice here.

I am sending back a bundle for RMA which I am almost certain is faulty. I have tried different power sockets, surge protectors, graphics cards and still get unstable warnings with the OC applied so I am guessing it must be something in the bundle that is at fault.

Is there anything else to rule out? Everything seems fine with the stock profile.

Also, do I need to include all mobo accessories with the RMA box?

you need to send back everything that came in the bundle, yes.

have you tried it without anything extra in? i.e. problem could be gfx card, sound card etc.

i had temp problems (and therefore stability problems) with my bundle but that was down to very poor cooling in my case. fixed it by adding a front intake fan and all problems solved.

have you been onto the customer tech support forum? they're usually excellent with this stuff. might save you a lot of time and hassle before RMAing.

What Mothermachine said. I started out on the customer forums. I posted out the diagnostics that I have already attempted. A rep got in touch with me and suggested 1-2 things that I didn't think of. Once they too were ruled out, he raised an RMA number and gave clear instructions on the process. If you ordered a bundle, it is possible that they will ask you to ship the bundle back, complete. Otherwise it will be the faulty item in question. Good luck Ringo - you'll be fine :-)

Thanks guys. Yep I have tried different gfx card and the system still won't last 2 minutes in IntelBurnTest. Have unplugged other hard drives apart from boot drive. I'd imagine the PSU is fine as it works dead on under loads at the stock profile.

Really hope they can sort it out - and yes I have been on with the systems support line about 6 times a day - the poor lads will have had enough of me.
