RMA'ing Motherboard - Socket Protector.

I'm having to RMA my mobo as it's faulty and I've just read the summary of the terms and conditions and part of it states missing socket protectors, does this need to be in place when sending it back? None of the pins are damaged or bent. I cant find the original socket protector so am i screwed?

The warranty is void if you don't send it back with the Protector. However I believe you can buy them seperately on auction sites.

They sell for like £5-£10. Quite expensive but needed for RMA lol

What socket is it? I'd expect most people on here to have at least one spare

Where abouts are you? I have 1 that came with my S775 mobo that I could lend you on the basis that at some point you'd send it back to me.
