rMBP 13" - Chip in casing!!!

So, my house mate but a good sized chip in the lid casing of my rMBP, it's royally ****ed me off as I've made every effort to keep the darn thing in pristine condition since purchase.

Are any repairs available, or a replacement lid from Apple? If so, any idea on costs?

If by 'lid' you mean the top of the display it will be a replacement display. Meaning a cost of £300-400

Yeah that's the bit. Christ almighty that's expensive. I'll just live with the chip, as annoying as it is.

Got my screen replaced on my 15" rMBP the other day under warranty as it wiggled a little bit and it annoyed me

Would cost £480 if I'd have paid for it
