Why is everything bold and in caps in that interface? :/
IT MAKES YOU FASTER! amirite? Marginal gains... :D
Gripper paste on a carbon seat post in an aluminium frame, talk to me.
I've been using this on all my seatposts. Supposedly fine for all combos of alu-alu, carbon-carbon and alu-carbon.

I'm using this and have used it carbon:alu and even alu:alu (garmin combo mount on my defy).

Oakley Jawbreakers. Talk to me. Seeing a few deals on them and really fancy a pair of black/red/dark colours. Is the fit similar to Radarlocks? Anyone spot them for less than £110 in darker colours? Also like these but would probably get the Cav ones. Everything else I have is mostly white rimmed.

Google-Fu is weak...these in stock this week.

Ordered some tyres from Mantel recently and can't fault the service/delivery.

Other colours.

China - aliexpress £15....
Yeah but I want *REAL* ones. My Ladarlocks are good but frame is far too flexy and the lens catch on mine has too much movement. I've had the lens pop out of the side of the frame a couple of times, thankfully the nose bridge holds it tight!

I want to go the genuine route as I possibly want to get some perscription lenses... But really need to follow up laser as it worked well before (2003), just now my eyes are naturally 'repairing' back to my previous short sightedness.

Very weak! I'd only looked around the usual suspects (CRC, PX, Wiggle & Sigma). Seeing Mantel mentioned more and more so really should give them a try.

Although you've now presented me with another dilemma. Too much choice under my £110 soft budget! Not to mention Photochromic for £125! :o

'Bike Club' shortly. First ride since my move & Diverges first. Can't wait! :D

Get some good ones and you don't have that problem. My Radarlocks have been 90% of the real product.

Funny enough i ordered the Cav ones from Winstaly Bikes? the other day, they should be here today or tomorrow, think they were £114 delivered.

I've got some 105 (5800) groupset components to plonk the bay, removed from a new bike and immaculate (stickers still on most items).

Compact Crankset
Brifters
Front & Rear Calipers
Braze-On Front Derailleur
Rear Derailleur

Individually on Wiggle it'd cost just over £270.00, not much less than the full groupset which includes a BB, chain & cassette for £285. In light of this is £200 a reasonable expectation? This is a legitimate price query rather than a shameless plug to sell to another forum member :)

Seems like a fair price if brand new in my opinion.

Just plumped for some new 50mm Clinchers for the Pinnacle from China. £276 delivered. (hopefully no import tax) Just the long wait now, these will be used for CX racing over this winter, then I'll probably change them to the commute wheels. Going to run them tubeless for CX, which will be my first foray into it!

105 groupsets are one of the things i've been watching recently on the bay. The last two went for £219 for complete set and £190 for set minus cranks (both advertised as nearly new) so £200 is reasonable. I didn't bid as i'm in no hurry and trying to find one with 170mm or less crank arms.

Can I use standard LOOK Keo cleats with my Vector 2 pedals? I've just brought some spare Keo cleats, but they look slightly different to the cleats that were provided with the Vectors.

Thanks for that, good to know I'm not way off the mark! Dipped my toes on Gumtree too but expect mostly knuckle draggers... not that I don't expect them on the bay either! :p

there are two types of keo cleats, standard and "grip". The grip ones have extra little grippy* bits on them

Delta cleats are different.

Yes! Slightly different design but fit just as well.

Yes, you can. The reason being that look cleats and pedals are an open design, so anyone can make them. That's why they get used by garmin and powertap for their pedals, as they don't need to pay royalties. The garmin and powertap pedal bodies and cleats are made by a company called exustar, as I recall.

So after my recent America trip in June, I thought ******** it, I spoke to somebody last week he said about an Osteopath who helped him

so I looked into it, and I saw one today, and it looks hopeful!
might actually be back on the bike at the end of this year if all goes well

I got my 2nd appointment in 2 week times, just got to keep doing what he said and see how it goes

its been about a year now I haven't cycled

I am hoping 1 day I'll be able to ride 100 miles for cancer research for my mum (that's the plan!)

if I get back on the bike, you will be the first to know !!
