Is it just me, or are directional signs in certain places distinctly lacking? I was heading back to the M4 today, found the first sign, then got to a cross roads, and no signs whatsoever, so I had to guess, and yep, guessed incorrectly, had to turn round and 'guess' again, and I was right.....Do they assume everyone has GPS in their car, or has 4 eyes - two for looking where you are going, and two for looking at a map at the same time?

When there is a sign for a turn you want it's usually on the corner of the junction you need and you have to cross 2 lanes of traffic in rush hour! :)

Your right! I was thinking something similar the other week, I left the M20 heading for Brenzett then as soon as I was off the motorway the signs for Brenzett were gone. No wonder people get lost here. :(

Motorway junctions with roundabouts and 'get in lane' signs are one of the worst, they always seem to tell you at the last second.

Try driving round Milton Keynes sometime, if you follow the signs to the center you'll end up with a spinning head - i'm sure they just take you round, and round, and round so you're orbiting the center :p

i seem to find the M4 has the least signs.

coming home from exeter, get on the M4....nothing..... oohh.. m25

100miles of nothing! :D

I love it when you're driving along and you come off at a slip road that suddenly splits into two, and it's only further down the slip road that it says 'north' or 'south', so if you see the sign, you're probably already going the wrong way.

I have the directional ability of a drunken ant with a large bag on its head, so I really need the help!
