Roadcraft demo next week - latest game from the Snowrunner folk.

The transmission design was by no means perfect in Snowrunner, but I'd really hoped that they might improve it in the new game. But it seems like in Roadcraft you just get automatic gears, one low gear, and then AWD/Diff Lock switches. If they've at least fixed the automatic gear selection so it works properly then it might not be so bad, but I was hoping we might get an option for fully manual gearboxes.

Yeah there does seem to be some of the more sim like features dropped (though like you its just things that I have "read" so far) , the demo will let me check out how much of an impact the differences are and I have to keep in mind throughout that this is not Snowrunner 2, I'm viewing it more as an interim game to play whilst continuing to wait for Snowrunner 2. I've got hundreds of hours in Snowrunner co-op and need something fresh :)
