Hi,

Anyone had any experiance with Roboform and/or lastpass.com. Roboform looks good and stores on locally, lastpass stores locally and online (and is also free). I'm just wondering how safe data stored encrypted online is? Would you use lastpass to store your bank passwords and other data?

I've used Roboform for the last couple of years and couldn't do without it now. Got it synced across my PC's. Its updated pretty regular, nice bit of software. Highly recommended.
If you decide to purchase it theres normally a coupon code knocking around somewhere.
Cant comment on lastpass sorry.

Thanks mate, i'll try the trial out. My internet bank ask for 3 random charaters from a memorised word/phrase which you select from 3 drop down menus. Can form filling handle this automatically?

Can't comment on lastpass, but I too swear by Roboform.... with one exception: activation limits.

I don't mind their necessary protection at all, but they still haven't released the long promised tool to allow you to revoke a Roboform licence from a working machine. This bites me on the backside every so often when i reinstall and although they're quick to respond to support emails to sort activation limits being reached, it always happens when i least need it to.

Would not hesitate to buy again though. And again....

I too use Roboform, paid for the full version. It goes everywhere with me on my U3 usb stick. Couldn't go without it now.
