help! experiencing a very frustrating time with a noob/new build/new keyboard!!
Devices = brand new Roccat Isku keyboard/self-build machine/asus z77-3770k/Win8
Problem is, the keys don't illuminate (only a couple of the function keys actually illuminate when using the brightness button, they have 7 levels of brightness) rendering the keyboard almost useless to me.
roccat support have advised me to:
1. Create except rules in Windows Defender for the drivers - DONE
2. Remove the Isku Drivers - DONE
2. Uninstall "Logitech Setpoint"/"Logitech Gaming Software" or "Steelseries Engine” - neither exist on my system - DONE
3. Install USBdeview and uninstall all USB devices it is listing - DONE
4. Restart the PC and install the Isku driver again - DONE
still the same issue exists! no illuminated keys = useless keyboard
any ideas? already got first dibs on smashing the thing against the wall...
