Today I got my second Roccat Kone from Overclockers, which may I add came super speedy in less than 24 hours of ordering, the first I bought for my brother but if I can't get this settled I'll have to get send it back.

I plugged it in when I came home today, it was working fine, automatic driver install, followed instructions, downloaded driver/firmware from Roccat's website and once I finished installing that the mouse would no longer move/click but it was still lit up. I restarted as prompted anyway, but when my computer came back to the Vista login (Ultimate 64bit) it still wouldn't work, so I plugged my old MX518 back in and now the Roccat can't install drivers for it's self.

I tried deleting all the mouses in safe mode but still no luck, any suggestions?

Did you have Logitech drivers/software installed when you first time connected Roccat to PC and installed driver?

Yes, I've since deleted it.

Now the mouse works, but I can't customize it using the control panel, and running a driver.exe in 64bit folder from Roccat means the mouse ain't useable.

Hmm, I just installed mine yesterday. What happens with me is that the driver installs + software and i restart as prompted but when my pc comes back on the mouse doesn't actually move. But if I plug it into another usb port it will auto install and start working fine then :)

Not sure if windows installs some dodgy driver first which blocks the mouse or something? Roccat still haven't got the hand of drivers yet...

Mmm may be sooo..
As ive said the mouse itself is working ok and i can manually adjust the dpi on the fly...
Its just the lack of the icon which does give extra options...
I have sent a ticket to Roccat to see what they say...
