Roccat Kone Issue

I purchased a Roccat Kone is Dec '08 and have had no problems whatsoever with it until the last week. It seems that the left click button is messed up as every time i click once it double-clicks instead! I have had some issues with the scroll wheel from time to time also but not a constantly like the left click issue. I was wondering whether anyone else has experienced this?

I contacted OCUK to return the product as it is still within the two year guarantee however the reply I received was that they only accept returns within a one year period and after that period I would have to contact the manufacturer. I contacted Roccat and was told that they pass on the warranty to the retailer and even though the product is advertised with a two year warranty if the retailer chose not to support it then there is nothing you can do.
I have never had a bad thing to say about the service I received from OCUK in the past but this is quite disappointing.
 
Hey thank for that MoodyB! My problem is that I bought this item believing there to be a two year warranty included. The product is indeed faulty and after some more searching online I have found that this mouse has presented these issues for many others aswell resulting in the latest revision of the mouse "Kone V2" to be released. The mouse is still within warranty but I'm being denied this because it is outside OCUK's return period and the manufacturer wants nothing to do with it.

I love this mouse and want a replacement for it as I would imagine I am entitled to within the warranty period.
 
Roccat are a waste of time and space. Despite the Kone v1 series dropping like flies they wont support it and have a stance of tough ****.

I'll be going with Logitech as they look after customers.
 
Sorry for bringing this up, but did you ever get this resolved?
I am in the same situation but with my Roccat Kave headset.
Roccat are telling me to go back to OC and OC are telling me to go to Roccat!
It just seems both are passing the buck and don't want to know.
I mean why offer 2 years warranty if neither can honour it!
 
I lost a scroll wheel on a kone and they basically just said tough luck mate thanks for the cash, as said dotn replace it just go for logi!

Yeah, I sent an email back to roccat telling them what's the point of giving 2 year warranty on products if they don't honour it and that they will never get my support ever again.

Any ideas which logitech headset is good for gaming??
