Roccat Kone[+]

Hi

I've just brough a new mouse, Roccat Kone[+], downloaded the latest drivers and updated the firmware, as recomended by the software it uses. I've set up macro's for playing black ops, and all works ok, except there is a lag between the additional buttons (not left or right mb's), and holding them down doesnt repeat the key strokes assigned to them. I used to have a logitech revolution MX before it died and had no problems with setpoint, but this seems odd for such an expensive mouse. There are lots of settings with the software, none of which seem to make any difference, and I've checked the macros and there are no delays?

make sense? any help much apreciated

anyone? just to add the key assignments do work, but if i keep clicking one of the buttons, say 5 times in notepad, only once will the letter assigned appear..

any help!! please!!!

Sorry to say that I also suffered various problems with my Kone, both software and hardware based. After the left mouse button pinged off, it went in the bin.

However; to stop in game lag; I made sure mouse smoothing was turned off. I also found that the mouse was more responsive and lag free when not running the roccat software app in the background. This was running win7 64 premium. Of course, this limited me to only mapping the buttons in game, and I couldnt change the pretty mouse lights. This is just my own personal experience tho.

Thanks, can you map the buttons in the game? with the software turned off it doesnt seem to recognise the additional buttons other than the wheel and l&r mb's.

Macro aasignment was bugged with earlier firmware , i mought my Kone+ 21.12 had to update it right off at home (Driver 1.33 and fw 1.24) - tho i expirienced wierdness binding keys and if macro was like button 4 should send 2 till 7 - it did it once then 1-4 sec "lag" and then next macro was exectted while i was spamming for 4 seconds button 4 - nothing happens.

Try imagine aggro management as tank in WoW: Cataclysm where dps tends to out-run u

If anyone could confirm issue - really would appreciate it, as it's at the moment back at store for investigation.

I have this mouse too, downloaded the stuff. But I can't figure out how to load the software up :confused:

What do you mean "load software up" ?

U download Update.
Plug in second mouse for matter u need click something, as Kone+ may become unresponsive during update.
Execute update.exe, it will ask u to remove all Roccat software , do it, then it will tell u It is updating mouse firmware.
Now wait , it will instruct u to unplug mouse at end of process do so and replug, Open Configurator and u should have new driver and firmware (1.33 driver and 1.24 fw which is latest).

No just open second profile and start experimenting.
