Hey I'm new to the forum.

Bought my whole computer from OcUK so just that I would get a feel of the community behind it all.

Well my first question to you all is when is this ****** keyboard going to be released? I have emailed Roccat but of course they are keeping the release date very secluded from public eye so just wondered if any of you had heard anything or any rumours?

I'm dying to complete my setup

Everyday I anticipate the release but it keeps getting delayed so I have no idea!

They've been releasing the keyboard for over 12 months so I wouldn't expect it any time soon. Also, if it's anything like the mouse that they have released then it will probably have a major design flaw. Looks nice though.
 
Oh just to clarify your point about the mouse and I think I know the fault you are referring to about the scroll wheel button. I actually purchased my mouse from ****** and they managed to RMA and they sent me out a new one also.

But apart from that the Roccat Mouse is awesome. I love its customisation thats why I'm so hooked on getting the Valo. God damn these roccat people stop teasing us and provide us with the goods so we can all empty our wallets :P.

I have to say the keyboard isn't as good looking as perhaps the Razer Lycosa however it seems to have a lot more features significantly the LCD screen and the million and one macro buttons which I will never use for my primary game BF2.

Do you think its worth waiting for the valo release as it could be ages when I could purchase the lycosa mirror?
 
keyboard is being redesigned, hence the delay.

mouse wheel is ANNOYING. On my third kone now. scared ****less to press it.
 
yeah, the mouse wheel is way too hard to press, if they made it a little easier to press, maybe it wouldn't break so much.

Roccat are terrible at release dates. I have been in contact with Roccat - they do not actually know themselves the release date.

The Kone was delayed several times also.
 
Yeah, way OTT I mean even for games like WoW which I don't play myself but why would you need that many macros? I'm sure you don't have that many attack moves or whatever for that!

If it came out tomorrow, i would buy it the same day. I wouldnt mind if they at least changed the Valo page on their website. Its said the same **** for months on end. Can't they change it every few weeks and keep everyone posted as to what stage its in?

For all we know they could still be "redesigning" it, then they will have to test it, and change things, test it again, then get a price, send out 50 to the UK (3 to each retailer) and run out of stock for 2 months, then finally put the price up.

Yeah, I prefer the G19 method of having different presets for the macros, so each G key can have 3 different functions. This cuts down on the keys and also allows you to easily swap a set of functions for one program into a set of functions for another.

Unless this keyboard has the presets too, as that would be ridiculous. I do agree though, this keyboard looks amazing. If it came at a good price (around £50-75 haha, I wish) I would buy it straight off.
