Well I've decided I'm never going to buy Roccat again. That's 3 separate pieces of equipment faulty now.
The Kone + Mouse, broken mousewheel.
The Isku Keyboard, not recognised in the bios after 4 months.
Now I get up this morning and they Kave headset decides that it will only reduce the volume and not increase it. I'll take it back today and I think I'll get my money back.

Logitech :)

Had any of this happened with their gear you'd pretty much have been given brand new ones. I'll be sticking with Logitech gear for a while now like their CS is amazing.

Aye, had amazing support from Logitech as well. Steelseries RMA is very easy to use and they are very helpful. All done via private forum.

I love their gear though and I have been given new from PC World each time. I'm just waiting to send back the keyboard. But the Kone + mouse is the best I've ever used. No problems with the replacement so far, so fingers crossed. But Roccat's customer service is totally useless. They don't even have a forum on their website. No way of sharing profiles for the mouse and keyboard.

Im on my third roccat mouse now and the only reason i keep using it is because i love the mouse.
Its just perfect for me and i cant seem to find another similar that i think would be good for me. The closest i saw was the Razer Imperator but even then had my concern.

Yea there customer support is totally useless i remember asking way back about the mouse wheel problems and they said if anything breaks we can fix it no problem.
An email after a problem was "Nothing we can do"
So yea.. after this one goes (been going strong now and other lasted 3 years before this one before wheel broke) i think its time to look into another company

Yeah I had the orignal Roccat kone mouse, really nice to use, initially was a little light for me but eventually got used to it,changed to a Razer Naga now tho.

Changed as I tried one of them N52 gamepad things but just couldn't get used to it.

I still miss the hotkeys on top of the roccat for quick switching sensitivity in some games tho :(

you can do that with the naga, go into the software and set one of the buttons (whichever you want, have mine set to the forwards button) to on the fly sensitivity. Then in game you just hold that button and mouse wheel up for higher mouse wheel down for lower

Well PC world replaced it without any questions asked.
I hope this one lasts longer than the rest of Roccat's tripe.
But like I say I do like their gear.
Would I recommend Roccat to anyone else?
Yes but I'd tell them to buy locally from a large company and to keep the receipt.

I wouldn't mind Roccat if they had better QA. I have an old Kone, and while it performs, had issues with drivers, scroll wheel, weight compartment, even a mouse pad which started to develop bumps (although the texture itself is great).

QPad is the same kind of company, and have better QA, far less issues with their gear.

 never knew lol

Mind you I tried reinstalling the mouse recently and it only gives me some daft program that wants me to login/create an accoutn and not the older software :(
