Rock and Kobalt laptops

Ah well first post, guess I'd better do the honours...

Don't name OCUK competitors unless you'd like a swift kicking by the mods...

OCUK do their own build laptops including using the same chassis as the 2nd company you mention. :)

i'm pretty sure the rules are lax in these situations, considering that you can name and even link to dell.co.uk amongst all other laptop manufacturers...
 
rock are the german version of alienware if im correct, and id rather go for an alienware tbh, and if you dont like those, then the dell xps/studio ranges are pretty good machines (albeit sometimes expensive), both the alienware and dell's are very well built machines so the cooling will be what it should be. Also look out for high spec samsungs, they seem to be pretty good aswell.

That's OK then, didn't want the ban hammer falling on the OP for something he didn't realise :).

I've been looking into the high spec laptops lately, I looked at the Alienware and was pretty surprised at how many bad things I heard about their customer support...put me right off.
