Rock Band and GH:WT Compatibility

Does anyone know if the instruments for GH:WT on the Xbox will work with the original Rock Band? I've found umpteen million articles telling me that they'll work with RB2 and that the RB stuff will work with GH but nothing about the original Rock Band and new instruments

I see no reason why it wouldn't work but there's a question mark under the drum kit so I'm not sure.

That's my concern, I don't want to flog the RB stuff to find I can't use the game anymore. The GH drums have an extra "button" which could complicate things

Why can't they just make the whole lot compatible?!? :mad:

I have both RB2 and GH WT on the 360, if it's any help they're both cross compatible. Only thing you lose are the solo buttons on the guitars.
