Sorry for the new thread but don't want this post to get lost in the official thread,

I bought the full rock band instrument set the other day and when i tried to plug in my guitar today the ring of light flashes then the guitar just doesn't come on,

I have tried phoning the shop i got it from and they have no stock, and on the EA website it says that only north america can get an RMA and all other places need to go through the store that it came from,

Any ideas of the options i have?

Thanks

When i use that site it says "all stores in the uk now support the 60 day limited warranty" and closes the window when you press finish

Odd, I used it fine this morning to request another new pedal.

edit: Ah, they don't replace guitars, I just tried :(

Wyrdo: I think the reason you got yours done via the site is that you only had a small part that was faulty which the shop won't replace without replacing the whole drum kit, makes more sense to just replace that part. SuBsTaNcE has an entirely faulty instrument which the shop will be able to do a straight swap. That's how I see it anyway.

Oddly the highstreet game shop i got it from also gave me a seperate piece of paper stating that any hardware faults should be taken up with EAUK as the shop would not be replacing faulty hardware.

I was planning on buying Rock Band tomorrow, but this is exactly why I've decided not to.

Not only the ridiculous price, but there is a total lack of transparancy as to how you should go about getting your faulty hardware replaced, which from what I've read/seen in a very likely occurance.
