2 questions there really...

Rock band is coming, and i'm keen! What is the UK release date folks?

Also, which is likely to be the best version? PS3 or 360? Already own the consoles, so just wondered which wold be best? I'm guessing PS3, as i have a 60GB HDD, and its more likely to have wireless controllers, no?

cheers

Well going by the US version only, as they're the only ones available the PS3 version comes with a wireless guitar, although it uses a little USB dongle that plugs into your PS3, were as the 360 is wired. Both versions are the same price but the PS3 guitar by itself is $60 and the 360 wireless guitar is $80, on the 360 they all plug into a USB hub. If you have a 40GB PS3 you will need a USB Hub (you can get them for a £1 in a shop), as for the game itself not heard of any differences in performance or any differences in pricing for the DLC, apart from the PS3 one is in real money and 360 in points.

I thought the 40GB still came with a couple of USB ports? Obviously one will be used by a controller, but 2nd should be spare for the Guitar shouldnt it?

You need 3, 1 for the guitar (USB Dongle), 1 for the Drums and 1 for the mic. You can use other headsets with the game but i dont think you can use a Bluetooth one though. If you have another guitar then it will be all 4 USB ports in use at one time on a 60 Gb.
