Worth buying it now? found it on the bay of e for about £140ish including p&p :confused:

You may as well. The UK prices will be astronomical anyway. Just be sure to check the feedback rating of said user on this 'bay to the e' thingy

Yeah that's not that bad. If you want it go for it, it's cheaper than it'll be over here, without the wait

I was in the states last week and picked up a US Xbox 360 Rock Band SE bundle (I have both a Euro and USA 360) for $180 (including Maryland's 6% state tax) so £90. Just wrapped it up in brown paper and checked it in on the flight home. Can't believe it survived but it did

Just walked straight through customs carrying it too which I thought was pretty nuts.

That price is dearer than I paid for the Xbox360 version new by £15. I'd wait and see the deals for the ps3 version on release. Currently you can get the xbox360 version for around £125 instruments and game using quidco.

The instruments have had problems, I'd rather buy and have less issues returning them with a decent reciept.

Because that would be a major kick in the nuts if you couldnt get any of the awesome DLC it has.

Buying a US version is not helping EA the same way as buying a UK version.

It's a complete ripoff and they're taking the **** with that price. There's no excuses for raising it as much over here.

I wouldn't import it because if it breaks your screwed.

I got mine from the USA and i think it cost about £130 just before christmas.

When i work out how to use the store, i will buy some new songs for it.

I doubt you will be able to buy songs off the US store.

Setting up a US account is easy enough, but the majority of the content is region locked. Demo's still download last time I checked, not much else does though.

personally I'd wait till the UK release, much easier to return the guitars if they break, don't work.

I have 5000+ points on my account waiting for this game to drop through the door, that and the Guitar Heros.

As I said before you can buy it all in for £125 which is less than we all thought it would be available for in the original rockband thread.
