Hi Guys

I'm looking at two mountain bikes, the Cube Attention 29 at £599 with a Rock Shox XC30 TK Coil Fork, and the Cube Attention SL 29 at £699 with a Rock Shox XC 32 TK SoloAir fork.

Is it worth buying the more expensive bike for the air fork over the coil fork? Is it a faff looking after air forks?

Thanks

Air forks are generally lighter and better.

Why did you decide on a 29er?

I want it for speed and distance riding.

Do air forks have to be pumped up all the time? If you don't have a pump to hand, can you just lock out the fork and it will be rideable?

Does the Rock Shox XC30 TK Coil Fork offer reasonable performance?

Thanks

It won't lose air all the time, it should stay at the PSI you set it to. I don't carry an shock pump in my bag.

Never ridden either, well I have for a short time on my uncles bike. Not a fork I'd want to use.

Not to be too arsey about it but you really don't need to create a new thread for each new question. Just add it to your existing thread.

Similar to starting every 5 mile ride with a new ride :p Just add it to your existing ride/s :p
