Nope, i'm just going on what people say on scorehero. I've played a few of the songs as GH customs (GG&HT and Shockwave) and they are very hard, Freebird/Raining Blood come to mind.
 
i am in 2 minds with the whole GH/Rock band scene because of the cost of the peripherals.
It's not the fact they cost £50 but how cheaply they are made.
I would have expected at least a reasonable material set to them than cheap plastic, making the price seem ludicrous
 
not getting this either, too expensive, seems all are jumping on the bandwagon now with "lets make a rock band", to play them all your going to need all different kits. Not worth it
 
OK, back to the Rock Band discussion.

Have they improved the durability of the bass pedal for the Euro release or am I better off getting one of those pedal metal plates to stop the damn thing from snapping when I get excited drumming to Metallica and stamp on the pedal a bit too hard with my fat feet?

I've got the US rockband set, and so far its lasted since December with no problems.

You'd have to be some kind of oaf to actually do the drums any damage as they are quite durable.

its plastic, its crap. drummers will break it within minutes.

The one at the play event in wembley was still plastic
If you play drums already and are used to stomping it i would get the metal plate regardless as end of the day its still only plastic

just buy a proper pedal for it. if you want to play it like a proper drummer or don't bother at all....

despite whether you play a gig or not, some people are heavy footed, and sometimes you need quite a bit of pressure to pull of some double taps, triplets etc

EDIT: According to a guy over at the official forums who won an IGN competition, the European drums have rubber on the pads, but I will wait and see.
