£££ Rockband- Unofficial thread £££

I actually like the look of the set list, a lot of variation. Not more of the same old crap. Definitely grabbing RB3, although I'll have to import it which'll cost me a bit more. I imported RB2 cause it was cheaper (and actually out) and my now massive collection of DLC will only work with a US copy :|
 
I will still buy it regardless just so I can get a Keytar :D It's going to be so awesome

and omg how did I not see Huey Lewis and the News, “The Power of Love” on there. Thats going to be EPIC

Yep I agree. I haven't bought DLC for months and months either. I used to buy loads. Theres nothing of interest anymore. I've gone from the biggest fanboy of this game to probably not even bothering buying RB3 :eek:

I'm certainly not bothered about keyboard and the setlist is pretty dire. Worst yet for one of these games imho.
 
Let's hope that you are able to actually buy spare peripherals by the time this is out. Had no end of trouble trying to find a spare guitar for RB2 :(
 
Looking forward to this for the real Squier guitar. Heard that the NDA on it is up in September, so we should hopefully hear more about it soon!!

I still need to download the last lot of Hendrix songs but i've heard they are fun to play on all instruments.

I don't know how well the Bob Marley tracks play but when i get some more MS points i'll be buying the whole pack regardless :D


Has anyone pre-ordered RB3 yet and/or any of the instruments? I've not pre-ordered the game yet as i'll pick that up from a retail shop on release day as I have £24 left on a trade in card. I have however pre-ordered the pro drum kit, I really cant wait to get my hands on this!

OK so it's no replacement for an ION kit but at £90 I can't complain ;)
 
Pre ordered the game and keyboard. A heads up though, once RB3 comes out, no new DLC will work on RB2, the last ever DLC for RB2 comes out on Tuesday
 
Im tempted by the keyboard but I really like the look of the RB3 drum kit with the three symbol setup and will probably get the game and kit instead. I'll maybe pick up the keyboard at christmas.

Very much looking forward to getting this :).

But I take it all the other content is compatible with RB3?

Not interested in the keyboard one bit. Might get the game alone but I've not decided, the quality of DLC hasn't grabbed me in the last year.

I still want a decent set of RB2 drums but I'm not paying £109 for them as advertised with cymbals for RB3.
 
Honestly can't wait for the MIDI pro adapter! I'll finally be able to use my Roland electric kit! :D

Does anyone know if you have to pay to import the songs from RB1 and 2?
 
Only the ones from RB2 I believe, though if you haven't previously done RB1 into RB2 then you'll need to export both. Not sure on the RB2 export price yet, but will probably be around 800ms points. Hopefully no more as that's all I have left.
 
I wasn't going to bother with this but I've had a play again on RB2 and although I'm rusty I enjoyed it again. I had gotten in the habit of only playing certain songs and importing my tracks to RB3 would get me playing songs I haven't played for ages again.

Achievement list is pretty good too with 1250 points

Whats the cheapest solus only?

Went to HMV today to try to snag the 69.99 beatles ltd edition sets for the wireless drums, sadly none in my store. I'm STILL desperate for the wireless fender as well. SO I have a hope at the expert songs I had to finish.
