Rocketdock equivalent for Ubuntu?

I'm after a decent dock for Ubuntu that is, ideally, easy to install!!! So far the only ones I can find are tarballs, and frankly I have no idea how to deal with these; if you want to walk me through it that would be great too

I use cairo dock. Don't know if it's what you are after exactly, but I love it. Piece of wee wee to install and coming from an idiot like me that's saying something.
