How can I have rocketdock to stay in view on the desktop but only appear when necessary over open windows?

Sorted it, was fairly easy I was just being dumb 
not worth starting a new thread so here goes
used object dock for long time now but giving rocket a try and after the install i clicked monitor and selected the star * instead of monitor 1 after moving it to monitor 2
now its disappeared and i cannot get it back, Ctl+Alt+R doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall doesn't either.
ideas? i'm sure that i'm just missing something simple but can't figure it out
