Rocketing tyre prices

Being rather sad, when I got my current car, expecting to rip through tyres like no tomorrow I spent a bit of time searching through tyre prices and noted a few in a spreadsheet in March last year. These are all BMW marked runflats 225/45R18 and 255/40R18, full set fitted priced on blackcircles...

Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 - Now £710, were £714
Bridgestone Potenza S001 - Now £756, were £771
Goodyear Eagle F1A3 - Now £819, were £829
Michelin PS4 - Now £862, were £925

So all a tiny bit cheaper compared to a year ago, bar the Michelins which have come down quite a bit.

The Bridgestone Turanzas on my focus were £115 each just before covid hit, £134.50 now (Including fitting price)
235/40R18 95Y

The ones on the Mrs car have gone up £8 a corner in the last two months. (was expecting to need some for MOT but still 4mm, hence the price monitoring mainly as I was undecided what to get/if to go Costco)

Ordering via Asda Tyres and getting my local fitter to fit them has worked well for me a couple of times.
They get better prices because they order in volume.

No increase for me on 195/55. Then again I just have a bingo/supermarket cafe bus (nissan note) and going by this size its all economy cars so price increases probably won't gain them much.
I have the same car and tyre size. What do you put on yours and how much were they? I bought two rears last year, £80 each (cheapest I could find at short notice).
