Everyone needs to do it at times.

Today, my poison of choice is Charger's last album CONFESSIONS OF A MAN (MAD ENOUGH TO LIVE AMONGST BEASTS).

Just off my PC though...so through my Kenwood KRF-V7030D and vintage Marantz speakers.

At -30Db.

What are you turning up to 11 and rocking out to?

*n

For me it's normaly Fear Factory - Demanufacture or Digimortal normaly. Anything by In Flames, Transform by Powerman 5000 and Issue IV by Dew-Scented also :D

Having a quick blast of Sick Of It All at the moment before I go out on a pub crawl. In the pouring rain. In a Fantasia Mickey costume. :(

I'm in a Smashing Pumpkins phase at the moment, but I've been ordered to listen to Cavalar as a friend is going out with their guitarist (they're a Brazilian rock/metal band).

Amon Amarth - With Oden on Our Side - Viking Metal = win
Wintersun - Wintersun - Jari Maenpaa is a genius.
Death - Symbolic - Chuck Schuldiner, Gene Hoglan. Need I say more?

Fear Factory here too, fave metal band....also gotta crank up pantera "yesterday don't me ****" or any of their later albums, just have that raw, dirty feel to them.

I'm actually entranced by a live video concert I've acquired by Tommy Emmanuel at the Sheldon Concert Hall and I can't turn the bugger off. It looks like Kreator will have to wait.

Currently frustrated about Dissertation and other Uni work, so playing some angry music to rock out to, to make me feel better!! (If that counts!) :)

Pig Destroyer - Terrifyer

Yes the band name sucks, but man, they make a racket! :D

Isis - In The Absence Of Truth - sick metal

That's a great album, bought that the other day along with Red Sparowes new one. :)

saw Sparowes a few weeks ago. absolutely awesome live act.

at the moment, i've got my **** out to Chevelle - This Type Of Thinking (could do us in). previously highly underrated by me, but i've now realised that they're great. previously been listening to Junip, DJ Food, Oceansize and Soul Position

Playing the below through my marshall which I haven't done properly for a few weeks - rocking out is good, but when you control the music its GREAT :)

Argh, you lucky ..... guy!! :p

They're really good, where did you see them?
Sorry to go off topic slightly...

this place is built for going off topic. i saw them at the medicine bar in birmingham. saw them earlier in the year with support from made out of babies. they're consistently excellent live. do you listen to Pelican? if you like Isis and Sparowes, you should definitely check them out, they're very good...though they all look like geeky woodcutters.

haha, yeah i've got a few Pelican albums, i like the untitled/self-titled one best, the newest i cant really get into??
You should maybe try Cult of Luna, they're latest album is great. Although they're a bit heavier in general, well, the old stuff is more so anyways.

Never heard of that support, may check them out :)
