Thought I'd dig out an old guitar for my son so I purchased this on steam the other week. However, I can't get the thing working.

1. We've got a RealTone cable in to the USB socket the speakers become muted so I'm not sure if the it's working or not.

2. Secondly, according to RockSmith 2014 installation guide, there a set-up menu.. but there isn't on.. It just goes straight into profile mode.

I've tried un-installing and reinstalling.
Deleted the config ini file so it would rebuild.
Tried different USB ports.

Using Windows 10, intel 3770k @ 4.5GHz, Nv980, 16GB RAM.

Anyone had similar problems?

Thanks

A friend of mine had a similar issue and the only way he could get it to work was to dual boot W7 and use that. I tried just about everything including a number of different ways to interface it via USB, (USB hubs, cables) etc and nothing worked.

Installed W7 and it was plug and play.

Suppose running a VM could be a simpler solution or at least a better way to check if it works on W7 before making a dual boot setup. Both of witch to me personally are more effort than i would ever go to for the sake of a game if they aren't willing to optimize it for a modern OS
