So I just saw an advert for this, looks like an interesting take on the Rock Band/Guitar Hero etc. games - anyone who's not heard of it, basically you plug a standard electric guitar (or bass) into your PS3 or Xbox and play with it, supposedly it can actually teach you to play.
So, for anyone who's played it, does it play more like one of the standard guitar games where it's really just pushing buttons in time, or does it teach techniques, fingering and chords etc.?
I've got an old electric sat around from when I had a few lessons at school, and thought this could be an interesting/fun way to get back into it.
