They know how to keep things behind closed doors. Quite amazing last week people were still wondering if Vice City Stories would be released on playstation 2. We now know it will be released early March.

Considering how many people work on GTA no details slip out of that studio. I bet there not allowed to leave the building until the game is finished.

I just want a few screenshots of GTA4 and a location and i'll happily wait until october time. Just something to quench the thirst. One can only hope.

London would be a nice change with a Lock Stock kind of theme.

Agree with you there, just a few screenshots to show us a glmipse of what we can hope for, and also what sort of setting it will be, place etc, Cant wait for this, Hopefully the map wont be too much bigger than San Andreas otherwise it will be TOO big lol.

I'm looking forward to GTA4 aswel.
Am I the only one who thought San Andreas Map was too big?Cos of the map being too big I was never really interested in it,played it for a week or two then just stopped.

i got same feeling mate.. it was just too big and filled with countryside :o

They will need a decent sized area after San Andreas, now that there are airplanes they will need quite a large area to make them useful. Imagine flying over an area the size of Vice City or Liberty city you would pass over all of it in a few seconds.

I liked San Andreas open areas rather then its cities, for some reason it just had the feeling like the cities didnt have as much attention paid to them like Liberty city and Vice city did have, but thats understandable due to the sheer size of the area they had to work with.

Ye I definately prefered the size of Vice City to San Andreas, although nowerdays the Vice City map would probably too small for a game. Ill be happy as long as every area is given effort and detail.

san andreas was good but not good enough as you couldnt use the big plane imside the hanger correctly as the maps to small maybe if they make a big map with plenty of planes more cars better graphics and more missions theyll be onto a winner i think i may go and preorder my copy tomorrow :)

Its best when its kept from the public. I cant wait for it. and have no idea what to expect.

A little O/T, But i honestly believe if peter moloneux had kept fable more of a secret, the game wouldnt have got such a slating. I personally loved it, but it disappointed many, Mainly because promises were made and expectations became too much.

The same could possibly be said for GTA type games, i mean GTA3 series is massive, and improvements are going to make the game fantastic, But chances are if they promised things, people would end up disappointed.

The thing that absolutly scares the bejesus out of me is the fact that no matter how big a map they make, after a week or 2 you know the whole thing almost perfectly. I don't know many towns I have lived and worked in nearly as well as I know the GTA maps.

Even when you know people at Rockstar you still know nothing :(

I don't want to know. GTA is a success becasue they promise things when they've made sure it's possible and have done it.

Sadly, I don't see the need for GTA IV. It's all too much of the same, especially when you've been a GTA community member since GTA1 hit the PC, when I was about 11 or 12! I got bored of SA far too quickly.

What we can expect is a heavily optimised Table Tennis engine and enough Jack Thompson parodies and puns to cause another legal ****storm.

I would like to see more RPG aspects and a great online environment.

I really hated the stats thing in SA. It was annoying when I just wanted to do the missions.

Didnt like the whole gangbanging aspect of SA either, Vice city is me fav.

I would like to see a naval yard included with cruisers etc. Maybe a couple of proper military aircraft like A10's..... maybe that'd be going a bit too far though... :D

But seriously. I cant wait for a new GTA that ditches the old graphics system and getting some new gameplay too.
