ROD and xbox live

Do Microsoft give you a xbox live code when you get your xbox back from repair for the ROD. I'm losing use on my subscription that runs out soon after getting a 12+1 card? I arranged mine over the phone so the repair is not linked to my Live account. Cheers

Think they do. Can't remember exactly how much i got, but it was at least 1 month.
