I recently purchased a representation of this famous sculpture. It looks very similar to the one in this picture, just a difference in colouration. It's about six inches high.

I've got it sitting on my desk, hopefully giving me inspiration in general matters, as contemplation of it is supposed to sharpen the mind. I can see a bit of artistic value in it, and it seems to brighten up my desk a bit as it is green & bronze.

Well, at £25 would you class it as

1. A reasonable purchase, given that it has ornamental value and might one day lead to me a great idea I wouldn't otherwise have had...

...or...

2. A waste of £25

?

Its only £25, money you obviously have spare or you wouldn't have spent it. You obviously like it as you bought it yourself.

Worthy purchase :)

Better than having some kind of tat on there, ive got a buddah looking over me :)

Is it just a nice ornament to you, or do you find it inspires thought because it's a representation of something you find positive? :)

Did it make you think up this thread? If yes, then answer 2.

Possibly. I anticipated your donkey-like response, and decided to run with it. :p

And hows that going to help you? ;)

Buddah works in mysterious ways my child ;)

It's a world famous piece of art, you've got a replica for £25 and get all the benefits (apart from having the asset) that the original has - good buy :)
