Does anybody know for sure if the EKWB ASUS M9H waterblock will fit the new Z370 Maximus X Hero. I did initially contact OCUK as there was no info anywhere regarding this and they said it didn't fit and that EK would be releasing a new block that did due to a different component layout. Now EK are saying it is compatible and will fit after a visual check. Anybody know for sure? Do I just take a punt and buy one...if it doesn't fit would I able to return it to OCUK?

I fitted one to my new hero x the other day after hearing its the same mono-block as the hero IX and it fitted without issues, cannot tell you how effective it is as still waiting for a couple of items before finishing the build

If EKWB say it will fit then it will they do extensive product testing. OCUK have said what they have to cover their own backs as they wouldn't have had the information available or the time to test it for themselves

Did we ever get a definitive answer on this as EKWB web site just says customers have said it will, not exactly for sure?
Not exactly true as many items if you check say ‘visual’ under compatibility not physical...
But yeah it will fit, my Apex looks visually compatible but physically 1 screw doesn’t line up (Not a big deal though).
