@Loxa how is the G15 Advantage Edition? Have you tried any games from NVIDIA that support RTX and what performance do you get when RTX is turned on?

Thanks

The games i have tried are:

-Doom Eternal
-New World
-Rogue Company
-Bless Unleashed
-Minecraft

I am really happy with the laptop to be honest it surprised me a lot, really good performance and if you are in the price range i would highly recommend it. I don't use RTX in any games as it is not something i am intersted in. The early models were apparently coming with slower memory but i believe they are the ones with the serial M6, mine was M8 and had the faster memory.

So ended up going for this laptop in end after reading reviews, for some reason I only thought it was 1080p, only when loaded up that discovered it was 1440p so that was nice little bonus.

Can’t wait to get gaming on it.

the UK model is 1440p - Some other countries are getting 1080p though!

Yeah the models are listed in the first post, you can get 1080p 300hz or 1440p 165hz (both are available in the uk).

Strange, I've always seen the 1440p one - Where did you find the 1080p one in the UK?

I cannot link or mention competitors on the forum.

Anyone having issues with this laptop taking ages to shutdown, like 2-3 mins with black screen?

If so try disabling the ASUS analysis service as that what I have done and it has fixed the issue.

Nice to know, i always do a full reinstall of windows with a new laptop don't like all the bloat (MyAsus).

I had to use MYASUS to get the extended 2 year warranty as laptops I have had in the past components usually fail around the year mark.

It’s when I first logged into that is when the service appeared and started slowing down the shutdown.

Just need to disable now from starting on launch as every time it opens it reenables the service.
