Just seen this laptop on offer elsewhere for £1649 and the spec is perfect for my needs. I've looked around online and a common theme with these new 6 core CPU's is that they run hot which is fine i suppose, nothing a little undervolt wont help.
One thing that i have read is that they are loud which is one thing but some reviews say even in overboost mode its near 94c-97c even with the fans full tilt which is pants. Some reviews show it running hot (like most 6 core laptops) and a little noisey whilst others show them near thermal throttling with the fans flat out.
Anyone got first hand experience with one of these? I really want a full fat 1070 instead of a max-q version.
