ROG Strix RTX® 4090 OC Edition Install Issues

Hi, I wonder if somebody could help

Im upgrading from an ASUS RTX 3060. It was a bit of a squeeze getting it in with a bit of fettling with the artic AIO CPU cooler but managed.

I have a Gigabyte UD1000GM PG5 1000W 80 PLUS Gold Modular ATX Power Supply, I only have 2 of the 4 power connectors to the GPU (I read that this should be enough, I cant see any more on the power supply), the GPU all lit up but my computer is not seeing the 4090, Ive installed the latest drivers from nvidia, cant update the gpu bios as its not seen,

not sure what else I can do so any help appreciated, It is seated correctly in the motherboard slot.

Motherboard is Asus TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WIFI (LGA 1700) DDR5 ATX Motherboard

Hi, just what I read and watched on t'internet, I can Only see 3 pci power, they have 2 connectors on each cable di I need all 4?

thanks everyone, all working, Tetras, you were right, this power supply has a dedicated12/16 power cable, I didn't realise it had, all seems fine now, few... I thought Id bricked it...
