Hi all,

First of all I hope I've posted this in the right thread :)
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this my pc had started to not turn off, when I would try to turn off the PC the monitor would go off but the PC itself would stay on, so after googling it I decided to do a Bios update which worked out ok ish, after the update my windows 10 OS would just hang so I ended up installing windows 11 which I had intended doing anyway so not to worry, everything is working well and the system seems stable but the one thing is that my Lan isn't working, even when I look at the back of the computer the little lights on the Lan port are not working, If I go into the Device manager everything seems normal no yellow ticks that tell you something isn't install correctly, it's as if the computer doesn't know there even is a Lan port, I have tried to d/load the drivers for the Lan of the Asus site but when I try to install them it comes up with an error, usually it's this PC doesn't support this ?
I can still get online via wifi but it still doesn't explain why the PC doesn't even see the Lan port.
I have tried all the help tips on Youtube but none of them help, I might either try reinstalling windows 11 again.

My system spec are :-

Mobo:- Asus ROG Strix Z590-F series

Cpu :- i9-10900k

Ram :- 32GB

OS :- Windows 11

Any help would be great

You might have disabled the ethernet port in the BIOS somehow? Try resetting BIOS to defaults or have a hunt around in BIOS for the correct setting.

TBH I wouldn't bother. If everything is now working apart from the network (which is a blessing) then get an Ethernet card for a few quid and consider it a successful mission!
