Gents, doing a complete new build. Ordered a 2080Ti as part of it, still waiting for the gear as the CPU still in pre / back order. Decided today to upgrade monitor as well to an Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ. Will a single 2080Ti hack it or should I get another and Sli the rig? It is for games. All the other gear is top notch.

Wait for the 3080ti rumoured mid September

Absolutely not, and that's from someone who's just gone SLI 1080ti - but only because I got both cards at a very good price - and, crucially, the majority of titles I play support SLI.

My total outlay on both GPU's is still way under the cheapest 2080ti's retail price, if I could have got a 2080ti for the same, I would have.
