I have a decent one in the members market right now, that'll save some dough, nudge, nudge, wink, wink

will add a 8Gb RX7600M and an extra M2 slot for storage etc, quite handy if you expect a lot of desktop use, we upgraded to a more powerful GPU dock.
Using the dock frees up RAM for system and of course allows the CPU to run rampant as it doesn't have to share power with iGPU so docked experience is a decent Desktop, FYI, this is the same GPU going into the Steam PC/Console thing.
I have some benchmarks in there on a handheld AokZoe 7840/780M which is only a maybe 10% slower GPU wise than the z2 extreme, In fact I had the hx370/890M which is the same as the Ally X GPU wise, here are the comparative Timespy, dock has more than double the graphics performance and with dedicated VRAM will be better in actual games at slightly higher res, never did run the dock on the 890 as I have a 4090M Occulink dock, now that was proper expensive, 4x the one I have for sale
Note the X1pro, doesn't have the same thermal capacity as a gaming handheld, it is slimmer with lower TDP.
Compare graphics score rather than overall score as differing CPU impact overall.

For some reason the eGPU won't show in this compare link if you are not logged in as me, probably confused it, some times the 3dmark hardware info thing just sees it as generic GPU when you hotswap it in, so here is a screenshot of numbers with 780M and egpu attached, the 890M and probably Ally X is ~3.5k graphics score and the eGPU is over 8K
