Roller coaster tycoon 1 & 2 now on Steam

Great game/series.

If you never have, you certainly should.. bit pricey though:o

It's a shame the series is dead in the water, what wouldn't i pay for a new premium product fairground/park tycoon/sim.

Check out theme park studio. IM waiting for a sale but it looks decent!
 
I saw these on steam a couple of days ago. I still have my dvd retail version of Rollercoaster tycoon 2. In a way i actually prefer this over the 3rd one.

Checking it out, very oldtime, nice modern thrill rides. Had no idea it existed, oculus support too:)

Throwing it back, i saw a dev post on the steam forum about win7/8. They say 90% of all related problems have been ironed out, helps massively if you're patched out with the latest service packs.

Nice to know they made the effort, or are probably working to resolve.
 
Wow, I already have RC2 with it's 2 expansions, and RC3 (although I didn't find it as addicting and quite buggy). If only I can convert these disks into steam versions :p.

So these should be more stable and bug free compared to the original retail copy? Now that makes it more tempting...
