Er, did you try searching the net? Its a pretty big leap to imagine you're the only one with Win7 who wants to play it.

RCT3 was terrible. Spent hours trying to lay a path to my coaster since the game failed to lay one continuous path due to uneven ground. :mad:

And the peeps kept on getting trapped in the animal enclosure because the AI pathing clipped the corners. :rolleyes:
 
Had to revive this thread, was just down a certain computer store helping some1 look at laptops and I wondered over to the PC budget game section, I picked up these 3 for a tenner :D

Wish I could have got no.1 though, I prefered it more for it's mission and progression structure.
 
Anyone got World of Rollercoaster tycoon?

I heard it has RC2 + Xpacs and RC3 + Xpacs and it's only a fiver on game, but can't find any info on the web about it
 
Well, after reading this thread, I gave in and dug out my RCT2 disks to give it a go. Thought I'd put it on my laptop for a bit of light entertainment when out and about.

It must have been back in the XP days when I last played, as I had no end of trouble getting it to work on Vista today: constantly crashing to desktop after between 10 and 30 seconds in the game. Bizarrely, and just before I gave up, I found that renaming rct2.exe to rct2.old.exe fixed things for me... no idea what's going on there, but I've just spent a happy few hours getting to know the game again. Good old thread resurrection!
 
call me sad but i keep a seperate install of xp on a small hd just for RCT1 and 2 plus bf2. great game got 3 as well but it's just not the same.
 
Thread bump.

Just got the complete set from GoG. Damn it this game is one of those I just never get bored of. Need to put my serious hat on and play for a long time.

So anyone else still playing or just started?
