Hi,

Looking for a mouse I can use in one hand whilst in bed but the rollerballs seem to still rely on being flat on a desk.

We have moved rooms and there is no TV so we watch i player and 4od etc through the laptop.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Do you mean a trackball ? ..if so you can indeed use them in bed, Logitech and Kensington both make affordable trackballs, and they will do what you want.

I assume you are out of reach of the laptop so you can't just use it's trackpad?

Hi, why rollerballs/ trackballs ain't taken off ?
Using this one now on my knee:-

Don't have to be on a flat surface, ball won't fall out, even if upsidedown.

Had this at first:-

Even good for gaming supposedly, well maybe wired version better. Prefer to above very expensive one, but limited button wise(no back forward, for web browsing), shame. Thumb on ball, is less strain, & fast. Look big, but don't need any area size to use them, just plonk your hand on it. Idle mans mouse.
Use with a small keyboard that as a trackball, sofa browsing etc. Thats good, but still use rollerball/ trackball mouse, most of time.
Ball does/ can get not as smooth in time, needs cleaning a bit, then not like as new. But won't go back to a normal mouse. Well for normal use, not gaming, but not much of a PC gamer. For desk use, prob wired version just as good.
At first take a bit to get used to, bear with it.

Cheers BOB
