Rolling back from Vista?

Well, is it possible? I installed Vista ultimate via upgrade from XP, and i really, really dont like it right now... it lags like hell on my system, seems to slow games down, and creates stutter in games that i never had with XP...also lost almost 1000pts in 3d marks...

This is with the latest vista drivers :(

So, how the heck do i just roll back? i want to keep all of my stuff as i did when i upgraded...i dont really wanna format, just a simple roll back...is it possible?

Might be worth doing a clean install of Vista first, rather than an upgrade. Putting one OS on top of another is never going to be as clean as just installing one. You might find performance is better if you do that.
 
I had an idea what was causing it before I even looked at your sig, and saw you have an 8800!

Sorry buddy, but atm the nVidia Vista drivers are very poor.

Yeah i know, problem is i dont think its gfx problems, i get a LOT of stutter on games, playing bf2 was near impossible as i just couldnt aim or fly the jets at all...and tdu... i saw trees closer than ever before thanks to that stutter!!

Surely i shouldnt be getting stutter that bad with my cpu clocked as it is?!
