Hey guys

Just a quick question, I really wanna download this and give it a shot as it sounds to make the game so much better

Trouble is, I've noticed it says to only install it on a fresh install patched to 1.2. Trouble is, I bought the Total War box set which comes with Rome Total War Gold. So it installs both Rome Total War and Barbarian Invasion as one which I cant change, and it also installs as the latest version (1.6)

I take it this means I cannot use this mod at all? Or will it still install ok?

Really hope so :(
 
They have been "updating" that mod for as long as I can remember....I think they stopped when M2TW came out, but don't quote me on that. I think you will have problems installing it over 1.5 or whatever BI is.

Ok well will try it anyway, see what happens
 
download an ISO of it from a torrent site or something, you'v bought the license to use it already, cant see any problems, just use the CD key you'v paid for.

Its hardly piracy is it?
 
Total Realism is cool, although I prefer the EB mod these days. The units and buildings are better IMO.

They recommend running it with Total War v1.5 but I know a number of people run it with BI though they have issues with it
